Walz rails against Democrats’ response to Republicans on certain issues

ROSENBERG, Texas – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz rips his own party for backing down to Republicans on hot-button issues.

“We let them define the issue on immigration, we let them define the issue on DEI and we let them define what woke is,” Walz said.

The former vice presidential nominee spoke Thursday night at a rally in Texas telling fellow Democrats they must win the support of the working class in order to make a comeback in the mid-term elections.

Walz was critical of the Democratic Party’s old guard for being too timid.

“To all the young people who are here, I just pause for a moment and look around. I’m especially talking about these old, white guys who seem to disappoint us on a regular basis in this country,” Walz said.

Organizers say they pick suburban Houston for the event because the district’s Republican Congressman Troy Nehls refused to hold a town hall.
