Walz returns to Minnesota for State Fair weekend

(ST PAUL) — Governor Tim Walz is happy to be spending some time at home after his first month in the national campaign spotlight.

Walz visited the Minnesota State Fair yesterday, exchanging his normal campaign trail outfits for work pants, a blue T-shirt and a brown baseball cap. He grabbed a pork chop on a stick from a vendor and then served ice cream to the crowd at the fair’s dairy building.

He posted pictures of his brief visit to the fair on social media, saying there is “no better place to be than the Minnesota State Fair.”
