December 2024 – Parole Specialist Robert Arman

 

Parole Specialist Robert Arman is a native of Bismarck, ND where he graduated from Bismarck St. Mary’s High School. Arman continued his education at Moorhead State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in special education.

Arman began his career in Law Enforcement with the North Dakota Highway Patrol in January,1997. During his career with the NDHP Arman was involved in: DUI Enforcement Team, Executive Protection Team, Critical Incident Stress management Team and Tactical Response Team. Arman was a weapons instructor, Standardized Field Sobriety Test Instructor, Instructor at Law Enforcement Training Academy, Drug Recognition Instructor and State Coordinator for Drug Recognition Program.

Arman was awarded Trooper of the Year and Drug Recognition Expert of the Year. Arman retired as a regional Sergeant stationed out of Fargo October 2020. Arman joined North Dakota Department of Corrections December 2020 as a Parole Specialist in Mandan. January 22 Arman transferred to the Fargo Parole and Probation office as a Parole Specialist. He’s a weapons instructor, certified to Fly Armed for transports. Arman serves on the Job Pilot Program (JP3), Strategic Re Entry program, Body Camera Committee and Parole Plan Investigation committee.
