(Boston, MA) — The championship matchup in the 4 Nations Face-Off is set. Team USA will face Canada on Thursday night at TD Garden in Boston.
The final day of round robin action wrapped up with Canada notching a 5-3 win over Finland and Sweden taking down Team USA 2-1. Nathan MacKinnon scored a pair of goals and Connor McDavid recorded a goal and an assist to help the Canadians clinch a spot in the Final. The Americans had already locked up a spot in the championship with wins in their first two round robin matchups. Chris Kreider scored the team’s lone goal in the loss to Sweden.
Team USA defeated Canada 3-1 in the first meeting between the two squads last weekend.
