(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild picked up a point during a 5-4 overtime loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday.
Jonas Brodin gave the Wild a 3-2 lead early in the third period before Columbus scored back-to-back goals to go up by one. Marcus Johansson tied the game in the final three minutes of regulation, but the Blue Jackets scored in overtime to get the win. Dakota Mermis and Mats Zuccarello also lit the lamp in the losing effort. The Wild are tied for fifth place in the Central Division with five points and a 2-2-1 record.
Minnesota hosts Edmonton tomorrow night.
