(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings have a new quarterbacks coach.
The team hired Josh McCown to replace Chris O’Hara in that role. O’Hara is now the team’s passing game specialist. McCown played for nine teams during his career, and he notably threw a walk-off touchdown pass while with the Cardinals during the final game of the 2003 season to keep the Vikings out of the playoffs.
He also was the high school football coach of highly-ranked quarterback draft prospect Drake Maye in 2019.
