A five-run fifth inning doomed Fargo-Moorhead in a loss to Chicago on Sunday

A five-run fifth inning cost the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in their 7-6 loss to the Chicago Dogs on Sunday afternoon.

Tyler Grauer had a tough outing, giving up six runs over 4 ⅔ innings of work and was tagged with the loss. Cade Torgerson gave up one run over 3 ⅓ innings of relief. Ismeal Alcantara, Ben Livorsi, Sam Dexter, and C.J. Valdez drove in runs in the game.

The RedHawks will now welcome the Kane County Cougars to Newman Outdoor Field for a series that begins on Monday night at 7:02 p.m.
