Kaprizov, Spurgeon set to return to Wild lineup

(St. Paul, MN) — Reinforcements are on the way for the Minnesota Wild. The team is expected to activate superstar forward Kirill Kaprizov and veteran captain Jared Spurgeon ahead of tonight’s game against the Utah Hockey Club.

Kaprizov hasn’t played since December 23rd after suffering a lower-body injury. Spurgeon has missed Minnesota’s last nine games. The Wild have remained strong despite the pair’s absence.

Minnesota is still in second place in the Central Division with 60 points and a 28-15-4 record. Thursday nights game starts at 7:00 p.m.
