(Eagan, MN) — J.J. McCarthy’s recovery from a meniscus tear hit a slight bump in the road.
The team announced yesterday that the rookie quarterback had a second procedure on his knee, which he injured in his first preseason game in August. The NFL Network is reporting that the procedure included a biologic injection to help deal with inflammation.
Head coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters that McCarthy remains on track to return to the team in time for the 2025 season.
