(Charlotte, NC) — The Minnesota Gophers have an eight-game winning streak in bowl games following a 24-10 victory over Virginia Tech in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on Friday night.
Minnesota scored 21 points in the second quarter. Max Brosmer passed for 211 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the victory, and Darius Taylor added 113 yards and a score on the ground. Minnesota closed out the season with an 8-5 record.
