NDSU fell to Drake 84-78 on Monday afternoon.
The Bison led 46-36 at the half, but the Bulldogs outscored the herd 48-32 in the second half. Additionally, Drake went on a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter.
Avery Koenen paced NDSU with 13 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Abbie Draper and Molly Lenz added 10 points apiece. The Bison shot 40.3 percent (27-67) from the field and 46.2 percent (6-13) from three-point range. 10 different players scored for NDSU.
The Bison fell to 0-1 on the season with the loss. NDSU will host Eastern Illinois on Sunday afternoon.
