NDSU’s Miller + Crosa earn MVFC weekly honors

NDSU’s Mason Miller has been named the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s Offensive Lineman of the Week.

He graded out at a team-high 93 percent, while NOT allowing a single sack or tackle for loss in a 59-21 victory over Missouri State. He led an offensive line that helped the Bison amass a season-high 364 yards on the ground, averaging 9.6 yards per carry. This was Miller’s first time receiving the MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week honor in his collegiate career.

NDSU had two 100-yard rushing for the first time since 2022 as Barika Kpeenu had 10 carries for a career-high 169 yards and two touchdowns while Marty Brown tallied 14 carries for 113 yards and one touchdown.

 

NDSU’s Griffin Crosa has earned the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week honor.

Crosa became NDSU’s all-time leading scorer after totaling 11 points in a Bison 59-21 win over Missouri State on Saturday. He knocked down 8-of-8 extra points while also connecting on a 32-yard field goal. Crosa now has 405 career points, surpassing Kicker Cam Pedersen who had 399 points from 2015-18 for NDSU.

He is now third on the all-time MVFC points scored list, only trailing Northern Iowa kicker Matthew Cook (413 points and South Dakota State running back Zach Zenner (416 points).

No. 1 North Dakota State will wrap up the 2024 regular season on Saturday in Vermillion, S.D. against No. 4 South Dakota with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
