Perryman, Behm earn weekly NSIC honors after upset win over Minnesota Duluth

Following MSUM football’s 30-29 Week 2 upset victory over then No. 19 Minnesota Duluth, a pair of Dragons earned weekly NSIC honors.

Wide receiver, Brady Perryman, was named the NSIC’s Offensive Player of the Week. He caught nine passes for 101 yards and three touchdowns. The Cottage Grove, Minn. native, made the game-winning two-point conversion reception. In two games this season, Perryman has 13 receptions for 210 yards and four touchdowns.

Linebacker, Josiah Behm, earned the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week honor. He totaled seven tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss against the Bulldogs. In a pair of games so far this season, the Appleton, Wis. native, has 15 tackles with eight being solo stops.

Perryman, Behm, and the rest of the Dragons (1-1) will visit McKendree University (1-1) this Saturday in Lebanon, Ill. Game coverage of the game will be available on The Flag (AM 1100 / FM 92.3). The pregame will start at 11 a.m. with kickoff slated for 12 p.m. with James McCarty and Jace Denman on the play-by-play call.
