The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks defeated the Gary SouthShore RailCats 5-2 on Wednesday night.
Nile Ball gave up one run over six innings of work, earning the win. Jake Dykhoff gave up one run in two innings of relief. Alex DuBord threw a shutout ninth inning to pick up the save.
Juan Fernandez led the offensive attack with two RBI. Drew Ward and Kona Quiggle each drove in a run in the game.
The RedHawks and RailCats will wrap up their series on Thursday afternoon with first pitch scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
