The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks downed the Lincoln Saltdogs 7-5 on Monday night.
Starting pitcher Kelvan Pilot gave up 5 runs over 5 ⅔ innings and ended up with a no decision. Jake Dykhoff tossed 2 1/3 innings of one-hit ball in relief and earned the victory. Fargo native Alex DuBord slammed the door shut in the ninth inning, setting the Saltdogs down in order picking up the save and striking out two batter along the way.
Peter Brookshaw hit his 7th home run of the season and drove in 2 runs. Additionally, Drew Ward tallied 2 RBI. Jake Hjelle (Jelly) and Evan Alexander each added an RBI in the win.
The RedHawks and Saltdogs will continue their series on Tuesday evening with first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m.
