The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks dropped their series rubber match with the Kansas City Monarchs 7-5 on Thursday night
Tyler Grauer tossed two shutout innings. Davis Feldman gave up one run in a single inning of relief. Cade Torgerson struggled out of the bullpen, giving up five runs in two innings of work, eventually being tagged with the loss. Garrett Alexander gave up one run over an inning. Brett Garcia ended the game tossing two shutout innings.
Alec Olund hit his fourth home run of the season and drove in two runs. Sam Dexter also drove in two runs while Juan Fernandez picked up an RBI.
The RedHawks and now off to Kane County to battle the Cougars for a weekend series to wrap up the regular season. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
