(Eagan, MN) — Vikings fans will get to see their new starting quarterback take the field during their first preseason game this weekend.
Tom Pelissero is reporting that Sam Darnold will start for Minnesota in its first preseason game against the Raiders on Saturday. Darnold is listed as the Vikings No. 1 quarterback even after the team drafted JJ McCarthy with the 10th overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 3:00 p.m.
