(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings could be bolstering their backfield.
The Pioneer Press is reporting that running back Cam Akers is expected to re-sign with the Vikings if he passes a physical. Minnesota brought Akers over in a trade with the Rams last season, and he had 138 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries with the team before tearing his Achilles tendon in November.
