Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Minnesota Vikings are signing quarterback Daniel Jones. The veteran QB was drafted No 6 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft and had spent his entire six-year career with the New York Giants until his release from the team this past week.
The Vikings are adding Jones on a one-year deal worth $375,000. He will be added ti the Purple’s practice squad with the possibility of being elevated to the game day roster or to be signed to an other NFL team’s active roster if a team loses an active roster QB.
Jones had a record of 22-44-1 while playing for the Giants while throwing for 70 touchdowns along with 44 interceptions.
