Timberwolves defeat Hawks for third straight win

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves never trailed during a 100-92 win over the Atlanta Hawks at the Target Center.

The Wolves went up by as many as 17 points in the third quarter. Atlanta was able to get back within six late in the fourth, but Jaden McDaniels got a steal on the Hawks penultimate possession to ice the game.

Anthony Edwards finished with 23 points in the victory, while Julius Randle chipped in with 20. Rudy Gobert added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Naz Reid chipped in 15 points off the bench.

The T-Wolves are on a three-game winning streak. Minnesota is in seventh place in the Western Conference at 25-21. The Wolves will now visit the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
