Twins ambushed early in loss to Cubs

The Minnesota Twins fell to the Chicago Cubs 7-3 on Tuesday night.

Pablo Lopez gave up four runs (three in the first inning) over five innings of work and was tagged with the loss. Randy Dobnak gave up three runs in three innings of relief.

Royce Lewis hit a two-run homer and Christian Vazquez hit a solo shot in the game.

The Twins and Cubs will wrap up their series with a rubber match on Wednesday afternoon with first pitch slated for 1:10 p.m. Joe Ryan will be on the mound for Minnesota while Javier Assad is set to be on the bump for Chicago.
