(Minneapolis, MN) — A pair of Minnesota Twins players are being recognized for their outstanding defense during the 2024 season.
Willi Castro and Carlos Santana were both announced as Gold Glove finalists yesterday. Santana will have to beat out Texas’ Nathaniel Lowe and Baltimore’s Ryan Mountcastle to win his first Gold Glove at first base. Willi Castro is going up against Houston’s Mauricio Dubon and Seattle’s Dylan Moore at the utility position.
The Gold Glove winners at each position will be announced on November 3rd.
