On Monday, University of North Dakota men’s hockey head coach, Brad Berry, announced the addition of Aleksi Huson to the roster as a goaltender. The move comes with the news of junior goaltender Kaleb Johnson being out indefinitely with an injury. UND currently does not have a timetable for Johnson’s return to the ice.
Huson joins North Dakota after a successful career with Shakopee High School in Minnesota. He was the programs all-time wins leader in net with 46. In his senior season, Huson recorded a 20-5-1 record with a 2.13 goals against average, and a .934 save percentage along with also serving as the team captain.
