Vikings and Harrison Phillips agree to contract extension

The Minnesota Vikings and defensive lineman Harrison Phillips have agreed to a two year extension. The deal is worth $19 million with $13 million being guaranteed.

In Minnesota’s Week One win over the Giants, Phillips recorded five tackles, one sack, and a pass defended. He is in his seventh NFL season and has totaled 263 tackles (133 solo, 130 assisted) over 80 career games. Phillips was Minnesota’s 2023 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award nominee.

Additionally, this extension will tie him to the purple and gold through the 2026 season. Phillips and the Vikings will return to action on Sunday when they welcome the San Francisco 49ers to US Bank Stadium for the 2024 home opener.
