The Detroit Lions rolled the Minnesota Vikings 31-9 to win the NFC North and take the NFC’s No. 1 seed.
The Vikings scored 0 touchdowns in four Red Zone trips (only scored six points on two field goals) Sam Darnold struggled, completing only 18 of 41 passes for 166 yards. Ivan Pace Jr. paced the Minnesota defense with 10 tackles.
Jahmyr Gibbs dominated with 23 carries for 139 yards and three touchdowns. Gibbs also caught five passes for 31 yards and one touchdown. The Lions will now have a bye week in the opening round of the postseason.
The Vikings are now the No. 5 seed and will visit the no. 4 seeded Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round on Monday, January 13 with kickoff slated for 7 p.m. on ESPN.
