(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings could be getting one of their starting offensive linemen back soon.
The Purple designate guard Dalton Risner to return from injured reserve to practice yesterday. Risner has missed the first six weeks of the season with a back injury. He was Minnesota’s starting left guard during the last half of the 2023 season, but Blake Brandel has thrived in that position since Risner’s injury.
The Vikings have 21 days to decide whether or not they want to elevate Risner to the active roster or place him on season-ending IR. The Purple take on the Lions this Sunday.
