Wild blanked by Stars; set to host Vegas on Tuesday

The Minnesota Wild were shutout 3-0 by the Stars in Dallas on Monday evening.

Filip Gustavsson saved 26 of the 28 shots he faced between the pipes. The Wild took 32 shots on net but Lakeville, Minn native Jake Oettinger saved every attempt at the crease.

Minnesota fell to a record of 40-26-5 on the season. The Wild will now return home to the Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday night to square off with the Vegas Golden Knights with puck drop slated for 7 p.m.

Minnesota is in fourth place in the Central Division with 85 points.
