Wild fall to Jets in overtime

(Winnipeg, MB) — The Minnesota Wild are on a two-game losing streak following a 2-1 overtime loss against the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre.

Minnesota got on the board first with a goal from Jake Middleton in the opening period, but Winnipeg responded before the start of the second and scored the game-winner less than a minute into overtime. Minnesota has four points and a 1-0-2 record.

The Wild will now visit the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night with puck drop set for 6:30 p.m. and game coverage available on ESPN.
