Wild players shine in Sweden’s 4 Nations OT loss to Canada

(Montreal, QC) — A pair of Minnesota Wild players scored for team Sweden during a 4-3 overtime loss to team Canada in the Four Nations Face-Off at Bell Centre on Wednesday night. Jonas Brodin scored Sweden’s first goal, while Joel Eriksson Ek knocked in a game-tying goal in the third period. Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson saved 24 of the 28 shots he faced in the crease.

Matt Boldy and Brock Faber take the ice for team USA against Finland on Thursday night at 7 p.m. with game coverage available on ESPN.
