(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild are bringing back a familiar face. The Wild traded for Nashville forward Gustav Nyquist on Saturday.
Minnesota sent the Predators a 2026 second-round pick to complete the deal. The Wild previously acquired Nyquist at the 2023 trade deadline, but he only appeared in three regular season games before heading into free agency that offseason.
He had nine goals and 12 assists in 57 games with Nashville this season.
