I’ve put together the LRC outlook for the month of April. This is a “tentative” look at when the “larger” storms may impact our area. Now in the previous cycle, 2 of these storms passed just to the south of the F/M area, however, as the jet stream lifts north deeper into spring, the storms that missed us to the south should have a better chance of hitting the area into mid-late April.
Now, although there doesnt appear to be any major storms the first part of April, there are a few “precip spikes” that will occur across the state:

The best chance of storminess across the state is around mid month then the toward months end:
We need the moisture and April appears to be “wetter” out west than in the east:
Stay tuned as we will have our full LRC spring outlook coming up April 3rd on the Jay Thomas show
