The coldest air of the season is on the way with wind chills falling between -20 to -30 across most of the area for Wednesday into Wednesday night:
So far this year the coldest we have experienced in Fargo has been -8 at the end of November. Lows Wednesday night are expected to dip to -14!! Wind chills all day Wednesday (chart above) are expected to be dangerously cold. Bundle up if you will be out on Wednesday and make sure to have a winter weather survival kit in your vehicle. As the Arctic air arrives Tuesday evening/night, there will be a period of snow showers 1″ or less which may reduce visibilities in some areas.
