SNOW totals and a peek into the New Year using the LRC

Our first 3″+ snowfall in over a YEAR.  That’s right, all of last winter we did not receive ONE snowfall that was greater than 3″ in a single day.

That’s amazing seeing what our winter climate is typically like.  Here’s a look at snowfall totals from Thursday’s storm

Most of the area received 3+” with the lighter amounts around the S. Valley.   Now the rest of the holiday week looks quiet with the exception of a few snow showers Sunday night into Monday morning.   If you are doing any travelling Christmas week, it looks quiet, however, shortly after that, the LRC has the potential of a bigger storm between the 28th and Jan 1st followed by a big push of Arctic air from Canada…..stay tuned…..
