Typical dry fall weather to start out September

September is typically one of the drier months out of the year and the first 1/2 of this month will be no exception.  Rainfall over the next 10 days for the Northern and Central plains will be minor:

However, by the middle of the month toward the 3rd week of September, according to the LRC, there will be another “rainmaker” over the Northern and Central Plains bringing some more moisture into the region:

Overall, a pretty decent start to the month with any “appreciable” precip waiting until mid month onward.
